Our Services
Oral Surgery
Occasionally, removal (extractions) of baby and/or adult teeth are required.
We aim to make this experience comfortable and stress-free for your child.
This journey will start before you even enter the building, where you will have the opportunity to let us know your child’s unique medical and social history so we can cater their visit to their wants and needs. Your child will have the chance to explore the surgery and get comfortable prior to sitting in the dental chair. They can even choose to sit in a normal chair, on your lap, or even in a beanbag if they are more comfortable for their first dental check-up. For some children, it may be possible to perform a home visit if you find it extremely difficult to access the dental surgery. However, we have designed our dental surgery to make it as accessible and welcoming as possible.
At the first visit we may take photographs and xrays of your child’s teeth to help further plan their dental journey. We play games and make the experience fun, and your child can even help us create printed memories of their distinctive journey. We will present you with a menu of options, both for the dental examination and dental treatment, to ensure you understand the alternative treatment plans and pathways that are available and assist you to choose which is best for your child and your family.
We also have installed the latest technology in three dimensional dental imaging with low-dose Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) available when required to assess impacted teeth, extra teeth and other dental abnormalities in high detail to provide optimal planning and treatment for oral surgery
